About Gove Hill Retreat.
Founded in 1966, Gove Hill Retreat is a ministry of the American Baptist Churches of Vermont and New Hampshire. We seek to help churches, non-profit and educational groups grow. We want to assist you in your goals! We offer warm hospitality in a casual, substance free atmosphere. Gove Hill is a member of Christian Camp and Conference Association.

Is Gove Hill Handicap accessible?
Gove Hill has a gradual ramp to assist with entering our building. The building, built in 1906 does not have full handicap bath or lodging facilities. If you have any concerns about your mobility within the building, please contact Gove Hill Staff.
Do you have linen service?
Yes, Gove Hill has linen available for your stay for an additional fee. Linen includes sheets, pillowcases, towels and washcloth. Some groups include this in their package, please check with your group registrar.
What should I bring?
Please bring your clothing, personal toiletries, walking shoes, outside wear for the season you are attending. Optional items include flashlight, linen, sleds, cross country skis, snowshoes or swimsuits (seasonally).
How are meals served?
Meals are served family style, we ask that people from your group set the tables, assist with bring out the food, clear and wash the tables after meals. Meal times usually at 8:00am, 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm unless otherwise arranged.
I have a special diet, can you accommodate that?
Yes, we can usually work with most diets. Please let your group registrar know, and/or contact the Gove Hill staff directly. Extreme issues may not be able to accommodated.
Do you have snacks available?
We have snacks available for purchase. Groups may also order a snack for the entire group at a designated time. Your own snacks are permitted.
What outdoor activities do you have?
We have volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, basketball, croquet, boccie and an array of balls for outdoor games. We have a three acre pond with swimming and boating (no lifeguard; swim or boat at your own risk). In the winter there are many areas that provide good sledding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, conditions permitting.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, we do have free Wi-Fi and a computer for our guests use. The system does require a pass code which is freely given to adults.
What Audio Visual tools do you have?
We have a digital projector (fee), Television with DVD and VHS and an overhead projector.
What is the cell phone coverage at Gove Hill?
Coverage at Gove Hill is limited. Some carriers are better than others.
Are there things we shouldn't bring?
Gove Hill doesn't allow the use of alcohol, non-medicinal drugs or weapons of any kind. Fireworks are not permitted. Water balloons, water guns, "poppers" and other messy items may be filled and used outside the building ONLY if cleaned up after there usage. Smoking is permitted outside the buildings.

Currently, Gove Hill accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash or checks. Additional fees for credit cards may apply.
