Grammy-Nominee Bill Pere, author of "Songcrafters' Coloring Book", is known internationally as one of the top songwriting instructors today. He was named one of the "Top 50 innovators and Guiding Lights of the Music Industry" by Music Connection Magazine, and was the 2003 national IMC Indie Artist of the year.  Bill has released 16 CDs of original music, covering a range of styles from children's songs, to spiritual inspirational music, to folk and rock. His songs have been heard at all types of events across the U.S., Canada and Europe, and he has had 13 songs in the Top 10 Indie charts for more than 150 consecutive weeks. His efforts in using music to combat hunger and poverty through the LUNCH organization have won national acclaim and Bill was pictured on a special edition Cheerios box as one of 10 "Hunger-Fighting Heroes".  For more visit Bill's website : www.billpere.com.

Nationally known Vocal and Creativity Coach  Kay Pere

 Kay Pere is a multi-dimensional artist known across the U.S. as a premiere vocal instructor and creativity coach. She has directed choirs and ensembles, and has mentored individuals who have gone on to national engagements in theater, pop recording, and live performance. As an accomplished songwriter, Kay has recorded in Nashville with Grammy Award winning producer Michael Hopkins, and she has performed her songs across the U.S. and in Canada, including an appearance with a select choir at Avery Fisher Hall.    Kay is also a frequent soloist at church services of various denominations. Kay is Founder of Keys For a Cause,  and performs on keyboard and vocals with the LUNCH Ensemble, using the power of popular music to produce positive social action. For more, visit Kay's website at www.kaypere.com.



Participants should bring musical instruments (if appropriate). A baby grand piano is available for participants' use. Weekend participants are also encouraged to bring their own songs in progress to share.  Expert Level-3 Constructive Critique is available all weekend for your growth.  There is a brand new outdoor performance space over looking a beautiful mountain vista.  We'll do an outdoor evening performance in  the Gazebo.   There main meeting room has modern multi-media presentation equipment.

Want to bring the family?  While you are attending your workshops during the day, there are many exciting things for the family to do all within a short distance from the retreat center.   Art and science museums,  natural wonders,  great restaurants,  antiquing, historic sites, and much more.  The retreat center has rooms  equipped for families.  See below for special family rates.

Participants should be adults or mature  High School students. A $100 deposit is due upon registration (or full balance for afternoon only), with balance due upon arrival. Maximum participants 12.

Workshop registration before April 30, 2012 is only $275
This fee includes all conference sessions, meals and 2 nights lodging. 

Registration fees from May 1 to June 15, 2012 are $325.

Registration fees from June 16 to July 15, 2012 are $350. 

Day participants will pay only $175 if registering before April 30, 2012.
Includes conference sessions and lunch Saturday and Sunday. Dinner available for additional fee, advanced reservation required.

Registration fees for day participants registering from May 1 to June 15, 2012 are $200.

Registration fees for day participants registering from June 16 to July 15, 2012 are $225.

Saturday Only $100
Includes Saturday conference sessions, lunch and dinner.

Family members: Those who would like to bring their families along for a Vermont vacation are welcome to do so. Rates for adults (ages 13 and up) is $100 per person and includes lodging, Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner and Sunday breakfast. Additional meals may be purchased. Want to come early or stay later to explore Vermont together? Additional nights start at $75 per room, no meals provided. There are many area attractions for your whole family to enjoy.
