Welcome to Gove Hill Retreat
Gove Hill Retreat (GHR) is a Christian retreat facility specializing in warm hospitality. The Manor House caters to groups of up to 45 people, one group at a time, so we may focus on you and your groups needs. You may plan your own retreat or come to our Writer's, Songwriter's or Arts Retreat. We also offer seasonal adventure camping.
We have hiking trails for you to enjoy, a three-acre pond suitable for swimming or taking out one of our small watercraft. In the winter, snowshoe or cross country ski our trails or slide down a snowy slope on a sled. Need a rest? Open areas for games or just sitting and enjoying the view are waiting for you. GHR is nestled in Eastern, Central Vermont near the New Hampshire border. We are easily accessed from anywhere in New England by Interstates 91 and 89. We have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. On a clear day even Mount Washington in New Hampshire can be seen! Once you visit you will see why people return to GHR each year.
